They also support patient registration, insurance verification, and day-to-day clinic operations while ensuring effective communication between patients, clinical staff, and the business office. In addition, Front Desk staff help maintain accurate records, clinic organization, and a smooth overall workflow in accordance with IPT policies and procedures.

Central Schedulers assist patients with scheduling appointments across Indiana Physical Therapy locations and serve as a key connection between patients and clinics. They manage appointment scheduling and rescheduling, help minimize cancellations and no-shows, and work to keep therapist schedules full while following IPT scheduling protocols. Central Schedulers also provide excellent phone-based customer service, verify insurance information, and support patients in understanding their benefits. In addition, they maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system, support communication between clinics and the business office, and ensure timely handling of patient records and referrals while following IPT policies and procedures.
