IPT Community Day of Service 2026: Illinois Road Clinic Partners with Arcola Elementary for Campus Landscaping Project
Friday, May 8, 2026, the Illinois Road clinic of Indiana Physical Therapy (IPT) took part in IPT’s annual Community Day of Service, partnering with Arcola Elementary School to complete a landscaping project.
The initiative is part of IPT’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities we serve across Indiana, strengthening local connections beyond the clinic walls and supporting spaces where families, students, and educators spend their daily lives.
Supporting Arcola Elementary Through Hands-On Service
For this year’s project, the Illinois Road team focused on landscaping efforts around Arcola Elementary’s grounds. While IPT clinicians spend most of their time helping patients recover from injury, improve mobility, and return to daily life through physical therapy services, events like Community Day of Service provide an opportunity to contribute in a different but equally meaningful way, by supporting the broader health and well-being of the community.
A Shared Commitment to Community Health
Indiana Physical Therapy (IPT) has served communities across Indiana since 1988, and community involvement has remained a core part of the organization’s mission. With 17 clinics statewide, IPT teams regularly participate in outreach efforts designed to support schools, local organizations, and community programs.
The Illinois Road clinic’s work at Arcola Elementary reflects that mission in action. By investing time and effort into local schools, IPT aims to help create environments that support learning, growth, and community pride.
More Than Physical Therapy
While IPT is known for delivering high-quality physical therapy, occupational therapy, hand therapy, vestibular rehabilitation, and lymphedema care, the organization also places strong emphasis on building relationships outside the clinic.
Community Day of Service is one of the ways IPT teams live out that commitment each year, working together to support local needs and strengthen the communities where patients and staff live and work.
Looking Ahead
IPT will continue to expand its Community Day of Service initiatives across its clinics throughout Indiana, partnering with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations to make a positive impact beyond clinical care.
