THERAPY STAFF

TROY SMITH

PT, ATC, Owner

BIO:

Dave inspired me to follow in his footsteps when he came to my HS to speak about PT and ATC to my Anatomy/ Physiology class. He was wearing sweats and a baseball hat, and I thought, “that would be awesome to wear sweats to work.” So I became a Physical Therapist!

The best part of my job is patient interaction and seeing someone get back to the things they like to do.

Fun fact about me, I “ROCKED” a mullet back in HS and College.

LORI SNODGRASS

I am comfortable in a diverse population from infants to adults with orthopedic and/or neurological conditions. I am a member of IOTA, AOTA & ASHT.

ALLISON GUITAR

BIO:

I always believed that movement is truly medicine. Being a PT allows me to practice and teach what I believe is the best way to enjoy and maintain a happy active life.

My favorite part of this job is seeing patients achieve their goals as they return to an active, pain free lifestyle

Interesting fact about me, I am a marathon runner and ran my 5th marathon in Chicago the fall of 2021.

CHRYSTAL PRANGER

PTA

BIO:

I became a Physical Therapist Assistant because I had gone through PT in high school, and the human body interested me. Seemed like a good field for me!

The best part of my job is getting to know my patients, and helping them feel better and achieve their goals.

Interesting fact about me, I do not like bacon.

MARIA SALERNO

PTA

BIO:

I became a Physical Therapist Assistant because I like to work with patients all the way through until the end and see them progress. Physical therapy is one of the few fields where you work a patient from start to finish.

The best part of my job is when a patient graduates from therapy (especially when they bring baked goods for us).

Fun fact about me, pickles and peanuts is my favorite snack.

AMY BORKOSKY

PTA

BIO:

I became a Physical Therapist Assistant because I spent some time in High School in therapy from a knee injury and thought it would be a cool job.

The best part of my job is getting people back into the activities that they love and need. They are so grateful and that is rewarding.

AUSTIN HOUSE

PT, DPT

I became a Physical Therapist to help people live their best lives possible.

The best part of my job is working as a team and laughing with my co-workers.

Fun fact about me, I used to break-dance competitively!

EMILY PERKINS

BIO:

I became a Physical Therapist because, after getting my ATC (athletic training certification), I wanted to further my education to reach a bigger patient population.

The best part of my job is getting to meet new people and learn new things every day.

Other than work, my passion in life is riding, training, and working with horses and riders to help them achieve their goals.
