OUR ILLINOIS ROAD PHYSICAL THERAPY TEAM

JOSH BUTCHER
PT, DPT, ATC, Sr. Therapist
BIO:
I became interested in being a Physical Therapist in high school when having PT after elbow surgery. In undergrad, I found the most interest in the rehab side of athletic training, so ultimately I pursued the DPT degree.
The best part of my job is interacting with a variety of people and trying to figure out how to encourage them best.
Fun fact about me, I am 6’7” and play golf, not basketball!

EMILY TRAHIN
PTA, CLT
BIO:
Why I became a PTA : To help patients in my community get back to feeling good so they can get back to doing the things they love most with the people they love most!
The best part of my job is coming to work every day and loving the people we treat and who I work with! You can always find something to laugh about every day no matter how you feel!

ELENA RENNINGER
PT, DPT
BIO:
I became a Physical Therapist to help people be their best selves and move pain free.
The best part of my job is seeing the joy in patients’ faces when they start to feel better, and getting to meet new people.

HANNAH JOHANNINGSMEIER
OT
BIO:
I love how with occupational therapy I am able to help people achieve the activities that are meaningful to them, as big or small as that may be. It allows me to problem solve and come up with creative solutions that are individual to each patient.
I love getting to know the patients and seeing them improve throughout the course of therapy through implementing the techniques they learned with me in therapy.
I have run 6 half marathons and enjoy making pottery in my free time!
