OUR AUBURN PHYSICAL THERAPY TEAM

JIM LESLIE
PT, ATC, Director
BIO:
I became a Physical Therapist because as a senior in high school, I sprained my ACL. I needed physical therapy and Dave Kuhn looked like he really enjoyed his job and inspired me to become a Physical Therapist.
My favorite part of this job is improving a person’s quality of life with non-invasive and non-medical techniques.
Outside of work, I enjoy my family, being outdoors, hunting, and baseball.

KRISTIN SWINEHART
PT, DPT
BIO:
I became a Physical Therapist because I love that PT is about patient autonomy and not about dependency on a healthcare provider.
My favorite part of this job is the variety this job brings, it’s different every day…and my co-workers are kind of great.

KAYLYN SAILLANT
PTA
BIO:
I enjoy being a Physical Therapist Assistant because I am always continuing to learn and grow while helping patients do the same.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and family, and watching sports.

EVAN COCHRAN
PTA
BIO:
I decided to pursue a career as a PTA in order to be in the healthcare field, helping my community through some of my interests such as health and exercise.
My favorite part of this job is meeting and building relationships with people of all backgrounds.
Interesting fact about me, I have a boxer named Stella who is better than anyone else’s dog no matter what you say.

HANNAH JOHANNINGSMEIER
OT
BIO:
I love how with occupational therapy I am able to help people achieve the activities that are meaningful to them, as big or small as that may be. It allows me to problem solve and come up with creative solutions that are individual to each patient.
I love getting to know the patients and seeing them improve throughout the course of therapy through implementing the techniques they learned with me in therapy.
I have run 6 half marathons and enjoy making pottery in my free time!

RACHAEL IMHOFF
PTA
BIO:
I knew from a young age I wanted to be a PTA after needing therapy from a soccer injury. I received multiple opinions from doctors who all told me I may not be able to play again. Then I met my therapist who made my love for playing sports possible again. From then on, I knew this career was right for me.
The best part of my job is building a rapport with each patient, and helping them get back to doing the things they love most. It’s extremely rewarding.
Outside of work, I love spending time with family, exploring the outdoors with the love of my life, and most of all, hanging out with my dog.
