CHELSEA FRITCH

OT

BIO:

Why you became a(n) PT / PTA / OT:
I’ve always enjoyed learning about anatomy and physiology, but what really drew me to physical therapy was how we use movement to treat pain and prevent/recover from injury. It provides an opportunity to teach patients how to manage symptoms on their own and empowers them to take their health into their own hands.

Favorite Part about your Job:
I like the holistic approach that we take to healthcare. We get more opportunities to spend with our patients and can look at the whole person and collaborate with their wants/needs to come up with a unique treatment plan.

Other/ Fun Fact about Yourself:
I started with IPT in 2012 as a PTA and with help and support of IPT, I attended University of Findlay’s PTA to DPT program in 2016 to become a PT. Best decision ever!
