Rachel Michael is a Fort Wayne native that graduated from Concordia Lutheran HS and then the University of Indianapolis for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy and began to work at Indiana Physical Therapy. Now Rachel is nearly done with completing the coursework to become a certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). Rachel has wanted to be PT since she was a freshman in high school, where an assignment to investigate possible future careers piqued her interest in the field. She then shadowed at IPT with owner, Dave Kuhn, several times and later did a clinical with Senior PT, Karena Schroeder, all of which increased her interest in the outpatient PT field. Rachel loves the diversity of patients that she gets to see everyday, but has a special interest in patients with swimming related injuries as well as working with the pediatric population.
