Back School

Indiana Physical Therapy has developed a specific industrial training aid to assist in the prevention of back strains in the workplace. IPT’s Back School program begins with an onsite evaluation to better customize our efforts to maximize the effectiveness of your program. The IPT industrial specialist performs the onsite job analysis and ergonomic assessment to allow our experts to recommend easy job setup improvements instead of costly engineering changes.

The Back School class ranges in time from 45 to 60 minutes including a question and answer opportunity for all participants. We provide a Power Point presentation with easy to understand health and safety concepts. As part of this program, each participant is provided with a personal laminated data card which shows and summarizes the main concepts and exercises designed to help reduce fatigue and discomfort in the workplace.

Indiana Physical Therapy promotes a strong company investment in the general health and safety education of its employees. Educated employees can positively respond to daily work situations and stresses, reducing injuries and the resulting non-productive time.
